Our Future Peacebuilders

Our world is becoming increasingly volatile. Conflict plays out on both a global and local scale and our children and young adults absorb these experiences. Now, more than ever, we must nurture an inclusive, empathetic and peace-able approach to life, work and community.

While conflict is an inevitable part of life, our response to it does not have to be negative. The ability to resolve disputes and manage conflict constructively is an essential life skill. Our Peer Mediation programme helps develops these social skills, empowering young people to create positive changes in the lives of their peers. It can have incredible ripple effects – in their lives, in their communities and in our society.

With the invaluable support of our sponsors, Viberts, we are investing in a more harmonious, connected Jersey for generations to come. We have had the pleasure of coaching many of your young people, and we look forward to building on these shared successes throughout the term.
